. expect a bumpy two lane little used back road. The road is old, plain and simple. While the road itself curves back and forth, if you take this at a brisk pace, you'll notice the bumps less and enjoy the ride. On the other hand, if your vertebrae are in great health, then tool along and enjoy the countryside. Like much of Marin County, the wonderment of this road is of course the small homesteads along the way.

Hwy 1 commonly has cops seen at least one an hour so watch the speed (and the passing). Somewhat encumbered by 'slow' tourists, campers (and just about everyone for that matter) by sportbike standards, take caution when passing (especially that sportbike pass).
